Agusto & Co. hereby assigns a ‘BBB+(IM)’ rating to SCM Capital Asset Management Limited (‘SCM Capital AM’ or ‘the Manager’). The rating reflects the Manager’s adequately experienced decision-making committees, good research capabilities and membership of a financial services group with over 20 years of operational track. However, the rating is impaired by the limited functionality of the current software and potential self-review risk within the internal control and audit functions. We have also taken into consideration the volatilities in the domestic macroeconomic environment and its potential to heighten investment risk particularly within the Manager’s equities portfolio.
