Agusto & Co assigns a ‘BBB-(IM)’ rating to SCM Capital Asset Management Limited (‘SCM Capital AM’ or ‘the Manager’). The rating is supported by well composed decision making committees, an experienced senior management team, a multi-layer investment approval structure and an operational track of over 14 years. However, the rating is constrained by the absence of an internal audit function, the Manager’s limited expertise in credit analysis and the minimal functionality of the current software to adequately support risk management.
