Agusto & Co. hereby affirms the Aa-(f) rating assigned to Stanbic IBTC Money Market Fund (‘SIMMF’ or ‘the Fund’).
The rating expires on 31 December 2024.
Agusto & Co. affirms the ‘Aa-(f)’ rating assigned to Stanbic IBTC Money Market Fund (‘SIMMF’ or ‘the Fund’). The rating is upheld by the Fund’s low exposure to liquidity and interest rate risks, stable and experienced portfolio management team and good operational track record in the asset management industry. However, the rating remains constrained by the frequent breaches of the statutory asset allocation limit. We have also taken into consideration the weakening macroeconomic environment and the impact of the persistent low yields in the domestic money markets on the Fund
