The rating expires on 31 December 2026.
Agusto & Co. affirms the ‘Aa-(f)’ rating assigned to Stanbic IBTC Money Market Fund (‘SIMMF’ or ‘the Fund’). The rating is upheld by SIMMF’s low exposure to liquidity and interest rate risks, as well as the Manager’s good operational track record in the asset management industry and membership of an established financial services group. We have also taken into consideration regulatory breaches as it pertains to the minimum allocation to government securities, the declining yield environment, and the impact on fund growth.
