Agusto & Co. hereby affirms the ‘AA(IM)’ rating assigned to Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Limited (“SIAML” or “the Manager”) with a positive outlook. The rating reflects an increase in the Manager’s technology adoption in the management of investment and operational risks, well-composed and experienced decision-making committees, good operational track record, as well as SIAML’s membership of an established financial services group. We have also taken into consideration the declining yield environment and the impact this could have on the Manager’s competitiveness and capacity to drive growth.
