Agusto & Co. hereby assigns an ‘A-(IM)’ rating to Quantum Zenith Asset Management and Investments Limited (“QZAM” or “the Manager”). The rating reflects the Manager’s well documented investment and risk management framework and clearly defined processes for decision making. The rating is also upheld by QZAM’s membership of the Quantum Zenith group, a financial services group with a track record of over nine years and support from Zenith Bank Plc – one of Nigeria’s largest banks. However, the rating is tempered by the lean structure across key functions within the Manager, sub-optimal board composition and the limited automation of pre-trade checks.
