Agusto & Co. hereby upgrades the rating assigned to Coronation Asset Management Limited to A(IM) 

The rating expires on 31 December 2026.

Agusto & Co. hereby upgrades the rating of Coronation Asset Management Limited (‘Coronation AM’ or ‘the Manager’) to ‘A(IM)’. The rating upgrade reflects improvement in risk management practices, with the introduction of liquidity and credit risk monitoring limits. The rating also reflects the Manager’s experienced decision-making committees and a well-defined investment process. We also view Coronation AM’s membership of an established financial services group and good operational track record in the asset management industry positively. The rating is, however, constrained by the frequent changes in the leadership of core teams and the underperformance of four collective investment schemes against the respective benchmarks.
