Rating Release

Agusto & Co. upgrades Unitrust Insurance Company Limited’s (“Unitrust Insurance” or “the Insurer”  or “the Company”) ratings to “A+” (long term) and “A1” (short term), with a stable outlook  

The ratings expire on 30 June 2027. 

Agusto & Co. upgrades Unitrust Insurance Company Limited’s (“Unitrust Insurance” or “the Insurer” or “the Company”) ratings to “A+” (long term) and “A1” (short term) reflecting strong shareholders’ support, good capitalisation, improved underwriting performance and strong liquidity profile. However, the ratings are constrained by the volatile foreign currency valuation losses which moderated the investment returns.
