Agusto & Co. affirms the ‘A-(IM)’ rating assigned to Coronation Asset Management Limited (‘CAML’ or ‘the Manager’). The rating rating is upheld by the Manager’s good operational track record and membership of an established financial services group. The rating also reflects CAML’s improved board composition, knowledgeable decision-making committees and multi-layered approvals for investments. However, the rating is constrained by the familial relationship on the board of directors and the loss of key staff in strategic roles.
